British prosecutors say "The Dark Knight" star Christian Bale will NOT face charges relating to an alleged assault on his mother and sister in July. The incident reportedly took place at the Dorchester Hotel on July 21, the night before the premiere of his Batman film in London.
According to Fox News, England’s Crown Prosecution Service says there is insufficient evidence to afford a "realistic prospect of conviction" and has ordered the police not to take any further action in the matter.
Bale’s mother and sister told police he assaulted them at the hotel during a family argument. Bale was questioned in the matter and has denied the allegation. Now he will face no further questions or charges.
Thank heavens. There have been reports that the disagreement was over money that his mother and sister were demanding.
Here’s betting that Christian will not be having dear old Mum and sweet Sis over for tea any time soon.
On your way, freeloaders!
