We’re not exactly sure that we needed any more proof that SNL cast member Fred Armisen’s take on Barack Obama is seriously lacking. Still, we’re more than happy to have had Will Ferrell on our TVs again.
Ferrell dusted off his impression of President George W. Bush endorsing John McCain and Sarah Palin to open up the last installment of Saturday Night Live Weekend Update Thursday‘s election year coverage. Things really got rolling though when Tina Fey — as Palin — joined him, featuring this exchange:
"Bush": George Bush always finds his man save for one huge exception.
"Palin": We are gonna get ‘er done.
"Bush": My God, you are folksy.
"Palin": Why thank you Mr. President. I like to think I’m one part practiced-folksy, one part sassy and a little dash of high school bitchy.
"Bush": For a little while I was trying to be folksy but after a bit, it just came off douchey.
