Nadya Suleman‘s ex-boyfriend has called for a DNA test to determine whether he’s the father of all 14 of her children.
According to L.A. Now, Denis Beaudoin told ABC’s "Good Morning America" on Monday that he donated sperm to Nadya Suleman during their three-year relationship more than a decade ago.
He claims that she told him she had ovarian cancer and had to be inseminated to have children fast.
He is now married and has two children of his own. But he has pledged to help her care for the children, even if they turn out not to be his. What a mensch.
Beaudoin says, "I cared about her so much. And I mean, we were, we were in love. I mean, I loved Nadya very much,"
Wait, she had cancer? When?
ABC says Suleman has denied that Beaudoin is the father of the children.
The single, unemployed, 33-year-old Whittier mom gave birth to octuplets Jan. 26. Afterward, it was revealed that she already had six — that’s right, six — other children. And she says all were conceived through in-vitro fertilization, using sperm from an platonic friend, not Denis. She has identified the donor daddy as a man named David Solomon.
Does the interview with this new dude — who seems sincere — shed any light on Nadya’s obsession with having such a large family?
Denis sounds baffled by all that has happened.
"She looks different, she sounds different, not the Nadya I remember," Beaudoin says.
