A Florida man, Robert M. O’Ryan, 34, was arrested Tuesday and has been charged today with one felony count of stalking of "Dancing with the Stars" contestant and Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson.

O’Ryan was also charged with two misdemeanor counts of carrying a loaded firearm in a vehicle, said a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.

He’s due to be arraigned today, according to a blog post on The Times’ L.A. Now.

Police discovered a loaded shotgun and handgun in O’Ryan’s vehicle. His bail was previously set at $35,000, but the district attorney’s office said it would seek a higher bail today.

According to People, prosecutors will ask that bail be set at $220,000. If convicted, he faces up to four years in state prison.

A temporary restraining order was issued Wednesday against O’Ryan. He must stay at least 100 yards away from Johnson and her parents. He cannot contact Johnson or her family.

The order is in effect through at least April 14.

"This incident has caused us severe emotional distress," Johnson’s mother, Teri, said in court documents. "We have been on the move ever since and have not been able to rest at all for fear that this disturbed person will attempt to make good on his statements and attempt to harm my daughter and possibly us as well."

Can’t blame them one bit!
