Elizabeth Edwards was so devastated to find out her husband, John Edwards, was having an affair that "I cried and screamed," she writes in her memoir "Resilience," due out May 12. "I went to the bathroom and threw up."
This from a woman who knows nausea.
Edwards, who is still undergoing treatment for terminal breast cancer, reveals in her book that she learned of the affair just a few days after Edwards started his 2008 presidential run.
Edwards blasts Rielle Hunter, the other woman. She describes her as a desperate groupie who seduced John Edwards by saying, "You are so hot."
Really? That actually works?
Elizabeth writes that John originally lied to her when he confessed that he had strayed only once. He "left most of the truth out," Edwards writes. A year later, Edwards was forced to publicly acknowledge the longtime affair.
But Elizabeth is trying to forgive. "I lie in bed, circles under my eyes, my sparse hair sticking in too many directions, and he looks at me as if I am the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. It matters."
Do you believe his loving look?
Is he waiting for her pass on so he can keep it going with Rielle Hunter and their alleged daughter?
