Sorry, “Reaper” minions, but the devilish comedy about a young man who must do the devil’s bidding and collect escaped souls from hell has met its maker.
With The CW’s announcement of its Fall lineup Thursday, it was apparent that two favorites — “Reaper” and “Privileged” — had been canceled.
In our darkest hour, however, there’s a bit of hope. The CW, in their infinite wisdom, has decided to stay out of the Sunday original programming game, handing it over to the affiliates instead.
The folks at “Reaper” are hoping (but not sounding terribly convincing) that the CW affiliates would see the light and continue the show on Sunday nights next season.
But until then, “Reaper” is in purgatory, as are we.
