The Carradine family's forensic pathologist, Dr. Michael Baden of New York, has concluded that “Kung Fu” actor David Carradine did not commit suicide.
But Baden's statement says that more information — from crime-lab work and toxicology studies — is needed from Thai investigators before the actual cause of death can be determined.
Carradine’s two brothers, Keith and Robert Carradine, read part of a prepared statement to reporters.
]]>In their first public appearance since their older brother was found hanging in a closet in a Bangkok hotel room, they asked for privacy.
”This is a devastating loss for our family and we greatly appreciate the compassion pouring in from all over the world,” Keith Carradine said.
His brother Robert added: "Until we have all of the pending results of the investigation we respectfully ask that we be allowed to lay our beloved brother, husband and father, grandfather and great-grandfather to rest in peace and with dignity. Once the investigation is fully completed and definitive conclusions have been reached, we will address the findings with the public.
"Thank you for your understanding during this profoundly painful time."
