Actor Rupert Everett says he wasn't shocked by Michael Jackson's death.
And, to be frank, he thinks the King of Pop is better off.
i "He was a freak," Everett, 50, told the British paper the Mirror. "He looked like a character from Shrek. He was a black to white minstrel. …"
Jackson "personified the pain and anxiety of a black man in a slave country," Everett added "We all watched as he changed from black to white. He was living performance art. I think it was fortuitous that he died."
Hmm, is that the pot calling the kettle surgically altered? Compare these two pics for yourself.
Of Jackson's planned London concerts, Rupert stated, "It wouldn't have mattered how good or bad he was. He wouldn't have managed to do all of them, and the press would have destroyed him."
What do you think? Is Rupert right? Or should he shut up about Michael Jackson?
