The 4th "Big Brother" eviction took place last night and Ronnie the Rat was sent packing. See his exit interview after the jump.
Tell me a little bit about what were you up to before "Big Brother?"
Before I went into the "Big Brother" house, I was finishing my teaching certification and helping my wife coach her high school speech and debate team and helping the high school theatre department.
What made you decide to do "Big Brother?"
I've always been a huge fan of the show. I consider myself a super-fan, if you will. I've always dreamed of an opportunity to play the game and do things I wouldn't normally do in real life.
Do you think it was really a good strategy to come into the house guns-blazing, just really going crazy with the strategy and game play? Do you regret that tactic?
Well, on some level I do regret having a heavy hand in some of the manipulation I had inside the house. It was rather difficult balancing my passion for the game with strategy.
What do you mean by that, "balancing passion with strategy?"
What I mean by that is my passion and love for this game meant I wanted nothing more than to play the game and strategize with people 24-7 and when I did find people who wanted to do that too, it kind of started to tip my hand that I knew so much about the game and that was when I feel the target on my back just really started getting big.
You were the one who figured out the mystery power was the Coup d'Etat. Have you heard who won it? Am I allowed to tell you that?
I was told that Jeff won the Coup d'Etat.
How do you feel about that?
Well, the other day Jeff and Jordan admitted that they need the power. They don't really know how to play the game and if anyone needs the power it is Jeff and Jordan. I don't think they will be nominated this week (with who won HOH), so I don't see how the power will even be played.
[Ed's note: It better be played, I hate when powers go unused. I hope Jeff takes down whomever is nominated and puts up Natalie and Jessie.]
Now, last night you called Michele the "worst human being you've ever had the misfortune of meeting." Was that just good TV or do you actually think that about Michele?
That came from a place not of her lying and manipulating because I did use those same tactics. What that came from is that the last 72 to 96 hours Michele really launched a massive assault of personal attacks against me, my wife and my family and I definitely was not going to concede that issue.
What did she do? We definitely didn't see that in the broadcast shows.
At this point in time, after reflecting on it, what's in the game is in the game and I'm just going to leave it there and I don't want to do anything else to Michele. I realize what I said was rather harsh and I'm just not going to drag her through the mud the anymore. We'll see what she says when she gets evicted.
[Ed's note: I watch quite a bit of the live feeds and I'm not entirely sure what he's talking about with Michele and personal attacks.]
Earlier in the game there were some comparisons made to Dr. Will. Do you still think that is an apt comparison?
Well, I myself never have felt that I compared to Dr. Will because I came into this game wanting to play my own way and be my own person. Russell did compare me to Dr. Will one time when he was berating me. If they want to make the comparison, that's incredibly flattering but I personally do not see it.
[Ed's note: I seem to recall a Diary Room session where Ronnie did, in fact, compare himself to Dr. Will. He also seemed fond of "calling himself," like Will and Boogie did on All-Stars.]
Who do you think is playing the best game so far?
Oh gosh, that's a tough question. I think the person playing the best personal game is Jordan because everybody thinks she so cute (and she is) and so sweet and nice. The best strategic game is China. She's so brutally honest in that house that people just laugh off things she says and they forgive her for them.
Who is playing the worst game?
I think Kevin is playing the worst game. Kevin absolutely is the consummate floater. He has no intention nor the capacity to win any competition and it's to his disadvantage to win because then he'd have to get blood on his hands.
But isn't that a good strategy in a way?
It's debatable whether that's a good strategy. In my opinion, it's not a very honorable strategy.
[Ed's note: Oh really? Hmmm.]
Who are you rooting for to win it all?
The top 3 I'd like to see win are Jessie, Natalie and Chima because they were in my alliance. However, because we have discussed things inside the house and resolved some things I am also rooting for Jeff and Jordan.
What's next for you?
Next is I'm going to talk to my wife, I miss her incredibly. I'm going to finish my teaching certificate my and just go back to living life. I love my life, I have a wonderful wife and I love the city I live in and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Do you have anything to say to your fans?
My statement is even for my haters out there. I'm not really a rat, I just played one on television. This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and you gotta go for your dreams and I wouldn't trade it for the world and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
