Kim Kardashian and her NFL-player boyfriend, Reggie Bush, broke up a few weeks ago, and she’s getting over it by … guest-starring in a sitcom about an NFL player and playing his alleged love interest.
Kardashian has signed on to appear in FOX’s “Brothers” in the fall. The show is about retired NFL player Mike Trainor (real-life former New York Giant Michael Strahan) adjusting to life after the game and reconnecting with his family (Daryl “Chill” Mitchell, CCH Pounder and Carl Weathers).
An episode scheduled for October will have Kardashian confronting Mike about rumors that they’re having a secret affair — which sounds only a few degrees off the real-life relationship she just ended (though she and Bush never really hid anything). “Access Hollywood’s” Nancy O’Dell will also appear in the episode, covering the story as the rumors become showbiz news.
(Musician Clarence Clemons, of E Street Band renown, in in the episode as well, though we suspect he’ll be involved in a different story.)
Kardashian and Bush were spotted together Monday in New Orleans, setting the celeb sites aflutter. Bush is in training camp with the New Orleans Saints, and Kardashian was attending a charity event in the city.
