Bravo is taking three breakout personalities from its most popular shows and giving each of them their own series.
“Real Housewives of New York City” star Bethenny Frankel, “Project Runway” season four winner Christian Siriano and “Top Chef: New York” finalist Fabio Viviani are all getting solo projects. None of them have titles or projected airdates yet, but Bravo has begun development on all three.
Former “Apprentice” contestant and non-married “Housewife” Frankel’s show will document her heretofore off-camera career as a natural-foods chef, as well as moments from her love life and what Bravo calls her “insanely busy” schedule. Rumors of Frankel getting her own show have been swirling for months now, but Bravo’s announcement late Thursday is the first official word on it.
Frankel is still set to appear on the new season of “The Real Housewives of New York,” which began shooting its third season a couple weeks ago.
Siriano’s and Viviani’s shows will both focus on their attempts to grow their businesses. Cameras will follow Siriano as he takes his fashion career “to the next level,” presumably by launching new lines and getting his clothes into more places.
Viviani, meanwhile, is letting Bravo document his effort to establish a foothold in Los Angeles, where he and business partner Jacopo Falleni are hoping to launch a high-end catering service. Viviani currently is the executive chef and owner of a restaurant in Moorpark, Calif., about 40 miles from the heart of L.A.
