The cast for the next “Amazing Race” won’t be announced for a while yet, but there’s a good chance that we already know two of the participants: “Big Brother 11” contestants Jordan Lloyd and Jeff Schroeder.
CBS isn’t saying one way or the other. But thanks to a college student who was flying out of Los Angeles International Airport over the weekend, there’s strong visual evidence to suggest that Jordan — who won last summer’s “Big Brother” — and Jeff will be globe-trotting for the 16th “Amazing Race.”
The student, Danielle Varey, snapped a picture of the couple at LAX and posted it to her Twitter account (it’s on the left). As you can see, they’re dressed in the familiar “AR” uniform of color-coordinated shirts, sweats and backpacks (either that, or they’re just one of those matchy-matchy couples).
Varey also said she saw two other teams and posted a picture of another pair in “Amazing Race” attire, as well as a cameraman, in the terminal.
CBS isn’t commenting at the moment. The network says it will announce the full cast for the new season closer to the show’s airdate.
