Thomas Dekker (“Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”), Kate Walsh (“Private Practice”), and “Entourage”‘s Jeremy Piven are coming together to star in “Waska” — an independent drama based on Leslie Schwartz’s novel “Angels Crest.”
According to Variety, the story centers on a young father (Dekker) whose 3-year-old son freezes to death during a fishing trip. Piven is the local prosecutor charging him for his death amid a town up in arms over the death at the time of Waska — the first snowfall of the year.
The film is currently shooting in Calgary, Alberta.
