Did Susan Sarandon, 63, replace her longtime life partner, Tim Robbins, 51, with an even younger man? Or does she just love playing naked Ping-Pong?
Sarandon has been rumored to be involved with aspiring filmmaker Jonathan Brinklin, 33, seen in the above video, who is a partner in Spin, the Flatiron District Ping-Pong club Sarandon invested in.
]]>The Dish Rag is sure it’s just business because a Ping- Pong club sounds like a very wise investment and is in keeping with Sarandon’s philanthropic and political interests.
Brinklin was best known for hosting ‘Naked Ping-Pong,’ a wild party at a TriBeCa loft with models, hipsters, and random famous folks like rapper 50 Cent and author Salman Rushdie. The mind boggles at this activity. Let’s just hope that Salman didn’t play by the rules.
Brinklin told Page Six that Sarandon was his “friend and business partner.” But Gawker doesn’t buy it. And a piece in the Observer details how Sarandon first met Bricklin.
She and Robbins first met on the set of the baseball flick “Bull Durham” and their 12-year age gap was considered scandalous back then. They’ve been together two decades and have two children. It’s long been rumored that they had an open marriage of sorts. She has said that she didn’t want to get married because they might start to take each other for granted. But this week, they surprisingly announced a split.
If this Bricklin business turns out to be true, Susan is The Dish Rag’s new heroine. Sorry, Madonna.
