Say what you will about Lindsay Lohan’s stalled music and film career.
There’s one thing she’s apparently good at. And no, it’s not being the center of tabloid attention.
It’s being a fashion icon and designer!
Her leggings line, 6126, will become a full contemporary women’s clothing line for Fall 2010.
Lohan tweeted this week, “i need MORE followers i am so sad about this, how can i tell everyone about my 6126 full collection COMING OUT! all clothing.”
Calm down, Linds. The word’s getting out.

the new clothing line, and she may even be wearing it. Wait, are those
runs in the stockings?
]]>WWD reports that this is in addition to her role as artistic adviser for Ungaro, a job that has definitely drawn attention to the French line.
Hmm. Funny because we heard buzz that the Ungaro CEO quit over her controversial involvement with the line and the bad collection reviews. But then we read that he didn’t resign
because of LIndsay and that her image added visibility to the line. Go figure.
Anyway, 6126 was picked up by the company that also produces Ed Hardy and Joe’s Jeans and will reportedly be available where the leggings now sell, at Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, and Nordstrom,
Did someone ask about advertising? Lohan has already done an upcoming episode of Bravo’s “Double Exposure.” The episode filmed her modeling for the 6126’s spring 2010 campaign.
Besides modeling, she’s also very involved in the line. “She’s not a celebrity who lends her name to a brand,” said a company honcho. “She picks fabrics. She looks at trims. She picks buttons. She doesn’t let anything go into production without trying it on.”
