It totally makes sense that (at least some, if not all of) the cast of
“New Moon” would appear at the People’s Choice Awards on Jan. 6th. MTV reports that the wolf pack’s Taylor Lautner and the buff Cullen Kellan Lutz have confirmed they’re attending the ceremony.
Nominated for “favorite movie” and “favorite franchise,” “Twilight” is one of the top nominees for awards.
Taylor Lautner and his costars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson
share the nom for “on-screen team.” Lautner is also contending for
“breakout movie actor.” Stewart and Pattinson have individual
nominations, as well, for “best actress” and “best actor” in a movie.
“New Moon” has been championed by its fans who voted it best film of 2009 in Moviefone’s recent poll, so we’re willing to bet that the film will walk away with several People’s Choice awards once the night is through.
