“Glee” has already booked guest stars Kristin Chenoweth, Idina Menzel and Olivia Newton-John as guest stars for this season, secured the rights to use Madonna songs in an episode and hired Joss Whedon to direct a show.
Not bad. Now the show is going after maybe its highest-profile on-camera guest yet: Jennifer Lopez.
“We are writing a role for Ms. Jennifer Lopez,” co-creator Ryan Murphy told “Extra” Sunday night following the Golden Globes. “We want her to be a cafeteria lady.”
A cafeteria lady who, we’re assuming, has singing and dancing talents heretofore unknown by the students and staff of McKinley High School. There’s no word yet on when J. Lo might appear on the series, which won the Golden Globe for best comedy on Sunday.
