depp jack sparrow Johnny Depp stays onboard 'Pirates,' Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightly jump ship, Rob Marshall grabs the helm

Captain Jack Sparrow will soon set sail in search of the Fountain of Youth.

On The Dish Rag’s Mapquest: Take Fountain to La Cienega, turn left, turn right on Santa Monica and left on Rodeo Drive. Then you’re smack dab in the middle of Beverly Hills, where most of the top Hollywood dermatologists and  plastic surgeons have offices.

Hey, LA traffic is an adventure unto itself.

]]>The new  “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” will begin filming in Hawaii this summer. Our beloved Johnny Depp is back as the flamboyant Captain Jack, and Geoffrey Rush reprises his role as his adversary, Barbossa.

But no more Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley! And the director Gore Verbinski has walked the plank too. He’s to be replaced by … wait for it … “Nine” and “Chicago” director Rob Marshall.
The film’s story is loosely based on the 1987 pirate novel, “On Stranger Tides” by award-winning fantasy author Tim Powers. The book tells the story of a young man who is captured by the pirate Blackbeard and forced to join in the search for the Fountain of Youth.
Works for us.
What do you think? Are you ready for some new blood?
