Singer/activist Wyclef Jean has called for a mass relocation of the earthquake survivors to refugee camps outside Port-au-Prince.
Jean asks for help from around the world in building encampments to house the Haitian people.
“We need to migrate at least two million people,’ he said, ‘I give you my word, if I tell them to go, they will go. But they need somewhere to go to.”
By evacuating the city, Wyclef feels that aid workers would be able to clean up the rubble more easily. It would also aid in controlling the increasing rioting and looting and distributing food and medical care.

Clooney will host the LA portion and Anderson Cooper will be live from Haiti. All funds raised will be split among Oxfam America, Partners in Health, the Red Cross, UNICEF, and Wyclef’s Yele Haiti Foundation.
What do you think of Wyclef’s relocation suggestion?
