In an eery way, designer Alexander McQueen‘s suicide was strangely appropriate for a man who loved fashion so much.
According to the official coroners report, McQueen’s body was found hanging in the closet in his London apartment the day before the funeral of his beloved mother was to take place.

His older sister, Janet McQueen, identified the body and officials found a suicide note nearby left by the designer. The note has since been given to the coroner as part of the investigation.
A hearing on the inquest will take place on April 28. Meanwhile London Fashion Week officials plan a huge tribute to the fashion genius. The British fashion shows will start on Friday, Feb 19.
