Alexander McQueen‘s fashion for his 2010 collection — which took place in October 2009 — featured the debut of Lady Gaga‘s single “Bad Romance.”
His collection, called “Plato’s Atlantis,” was streamed live, with tons of video footage, from Paris.
The collection also featured the enormous lobster claw “Armadillo Shoes” that Gaga wore in her music video.
It’s considered likely that McQueen, who committed suicide today, Feb. 11, designed these treacherous heels with Lady Gaga — in some ways his macabre muse — in mind.
Watch Lady Gaga’s video here. And yes, she is dressed completely in McQueen.
