Sarah Walker isn’t the only one who has fallen for Luc, played by French actor Gilles Marini. Looks like we can count the producers of “Brothers & Sisters” in his fan club, as well.
ABC has just confirmed to Zap2it exclusively that Marini is in contractual negotiations to become a series regular next season. The network has also confirmed that he will be in all the remaining episodes of the show this season, except one. We’re thinking Marini will sit out the flashback episode. Contrary to reports elsewhere on the web, Luc will be around for more romantic drama with Sarah.
Marini was originally signed on for five episodes. He returns on the Feb. 21st episode to complicate matters for Sarah and her current beau, Roy.
So, we lose one looker in Rob Lowe, but we get a world class hunk to take his place. Not a bad deal in our opinion.
Are you excited to welcome Marini to the Walker clan?
[Update: Zap2it spoke to Gilles Marini about the negotiations. He said, “It’s a huge roller coaster ride for my management and agent. For me, I have nothing to do with it. I can’t wait for them to tell me, to tell you guys, that things are looking really good. It’s very exciting.”
Marini is confident an agreement will be reached and he looks forward to ABC announcing that “Brothers & Sisters” will be renewed for another season.]
