We guess if you squint your eyes a little, Joe Jonas does kind of look like Balthazar Getty, right? Possibly, “Brothers & Sisters” hopes we’ll see the resemblance.
According to E! Online, Joe Jonas has been cast as the younger version of Balthazar Getty’s character on the show, Tommy.
Previously, we reported that the show was taking a two-hour jaunt back in time. We wondered who would be cast as the younger versions of the Walkers.
While an ABC representative told Zap2it they could not confirm the castings at this time, E! Online’s sources say that some of those decisions have been made.
Reportedly, other than Jonas, several newcomers round out some of the other Walker children: “Fame‘s” Kay Panabaker as Kitty; Anna Wood, who has appeared on nonrecurring roles in “Cold Case” and “Royal Pains,” as Sarah; and Kasey Campbell, who apparently appeared in a few episodes of “Weeds,” will play Kevin.
The sources also say that Rachael Leigh Cook is in the running to play a younger Sally Field as Nora.
Who should play Justin? Saul? What about William Walker?
[Update: ABC has confirmed to Zap2it that the flashback episode will air Sun., April 11, 9-11 p.m.
Update Fri. Feb. 25: ABC has confirmed to Zap2it that Joe Jonas will not be guest starring on “Brothers & Sisters.” Entertainment Weekly reports that the role of young Tommy will now be played by “Make It or Break It‘s” Cody Longo.]
