Charlie Sheen‘s publicist, Stan Rosenfield, tells The Wrap that the actor will take a break from the hit CBS comedy to go into rehab. According to Rosenfield, the temporary leave is a “precautionary measure.”
Production on the show has been “temporarily suspended.”
“CBS, Warner Bros. Television and Chuck Lorre support Charlie Sheen in his decision today to begin voluntary in-patient care at a treatment center. We wish him nothing but the best as he deals with this personal matter,” according to a joint statement from all three parties.
