“American Idol” judge Kara DioGuardi was a guest on “The Tonight Show” Monday (March 15), but try as he might, host Jay Leno couldn’t get her to say who her favorite contestant is.
“There are a bunch of them,” she tells Leno in the clip below. “I was kind of shocked by Lilly [Scott] leaving. She was somebody who really knew who she was. There’s few contestants now who are really struggling with that, but they have good voices.”
She does say, right at the end, that she’s a fan of Michael Lynche — which is no surprise, considering he moved her to tears last week with his rendition of “This Woman’s Work.” She also talks about Ellen DeGeneres, critiques fellow guest Terry Bradshaw’s singing and has to live down a clip of her teenage self.
