daisyoflove Corey Haim dating 'Rock of Love's' Daisy de la Hoya prior to death“Lost Boys” star Corey Haim, who died early Wednesday morning at age 38 after a lifelong battle with substance abuse, had recently begun dating Daisy de la Hoya, a runner-up on VH1’s “Rock of Love” who went on to star in her own spin off, “Daisy of Love”

De la Hoya, who apparently began dating Haim about two weeks ago, took to her Twitter to express her sadness. “Why do I always fall for the lost soul?” she tweeted. “We could of been lost together, now your lost forever … I’ll miss you.”

An unnamed source tells E! Online that Corey Feldman introduced Haim and de la Hoya, and that the three of them spent time together at the Playboy Mansion in late February.  The source says, “Daisy knew Corey was doing a lot of drugs- – especially prescription meds. She thought he was kind and talented, and she wanted to rescue him.”

“I’m sooooooo devastated right now,” de la Hoya tweeted upon learning of Haim’s death. “This is the worst day ever I can’t believe this.”
