rielle hunter gq Elisabeth Hasselbeck to Rielle Hunter: Posing pantyless with Kermit is 'perverse'John Edwards‘ mistress Rielle Hunter is said to be repulsed by the racy shots of her in the April issue of GQ.

She’s not the only one. About the photo of Rielle without pants on, sitting on a bed with stuffed Muppets, “The View” cohost Elisabeth Hasselbeck railed, “If you’re gonna involve Kermit, Barney and Dora, put your pants on! It’s borderline perverse!”

]]> Hunter — who had an affair and a child with former vice presidential candidate John Edwards — called Barbara Walters in tears about the sexy shots. She told Barbara that she thought GQ photog Mark Seliger would’ve used some of the “beautiful headshots” he took of her. Instead, mean old GQ used racy shots of her without pants as she lounged next to stuffed animals and one of her laying down on a bed with her shirt pulled up to show off her bare belly and her sweatpants untied. The nerve! “Did she say she thought they would be headshots?” GQ reporter Lisa DePaulo who interviewed Rielle for the magazine, asked incredulously on ABC’s Good Morning America Tuesday. “Rielle is a smart woman,” DePaulo added. “She knows what she wore and what she was doing in the photo shoot.” To make their point, GQ also released a video of the shoot to “GMA” today and at one point the videographer asks Hunter, “You want to take a look at this?” And she looks at the image on the monitor and voices no complaints. Gosh, you don’t think she’s lying about being repulsed by the photos and that she knew exactly what she was doing, do you?
