Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn will make her “Law & Order” cameo appearance in the show’s season finale.
Vonn, an “L&O” fanatic who has visited the set in the past, will film her scene in the show on April 9. She’ll play an administrative assistant — not a jury foreman as previously reported — who gives Lupo (Jeremy Sisto), Bernard (Anthony Anderson) and Rubirosa (Alana de la Garza) a “vital clue” as they track a terrorist who’s threatening a group of students.
“I honestly couldn’t be more excited about being on ‘Law & Order,'” Vonn says. “How many people get to appear on their favorite TV show?”
If things break a certain way, Vonn could also end up being on the last episode of “Law & Order” ever. NBC executives have said they’d like to have the show back for a 21st season — which would break the record for TV dramas it currently shares with “Gunsmoke” — but it hasn’t been picked up yet.
The season finale of “Law & Order” is scheduled to air Monday, May 24.
