Kelly Ripa (also an “All My Children” alum), for one, thinks it wasn’t Turner’s time to go.
“I think you guys were robbed,” exclaimed a worked-up Ripa. “And I think that certain people are judged on like a different plane than everyone else.”
“Certain people” most likely meaning the lead-footed Kate Gosselin, who actually got praise from the judges for her sub-par dancing on Monday while still bringing in the lowest score of the night.
As for who Turner thinks has the best prospects for winning: “Well, I really like Nicole [Scherzinger],” says Turner. But he can’t ignore the Kate factor either.
“You know, I mean Kate’s getting a lot of attention … and Nicole just seems to be under the radar.”
What’s up next for the dashingly handsome Brit? Ripa thinks he should be the next James Bond. We could see that. Turner says his plan is, in fact, to pursue a film career — and he’s headed to Hollywood “tomorrow” to start auditioning. Good luck, Aiden!
