Nicole Scherzinger wowed the “Dancing With the Stars” judges during week two with her Jive, earning two 10’s from judges Carrie Ann Iniba and Bruno Tonioli (Len Goodman showed less enthusiasm with his eight).
Tonioli proclaimed, “I’ve never seen a Jive that good on week two!”
Ah, but has he ever seen another dance that impressed him as much on week two?
We did a little digging, and it turns out two other stars make the week two “10” cut.
Stacey Kiebler pulled it off in Season 2 with Kate Gosselin‘s current partner, Tony Dovolani, in a Rumba.
Then Season 3’s Joey Lawrence heated up the floor with a Quickstep next to Aiden Turner‘s pro partner, Edyta Sliwinska.
Seven more seasons passed by before the judges were impressed enough to pass out another 10. Make that two.
Right now Scherzinger leads the the dancing pack with 53/60. Tailing her is Olympic figure skater Evan Lycacek (why are they so many hard-to-spell names this season?) with 47/60.
Time will tell if Scherzinger can continue her hot streak, but so far, that Mirrorball trophy just might belong to a Pussycat Doll.
