“Grey’s Anatomy” last aired a new episode on April 1, and if you’re trying to refresh your memory as to where things left off, well, so are we.
Fortunately, we have the clip above to remind us that at the end of the last episode, Mark’s (Eric Dane) daughter Sloan (guest star Leven Rambin) showed up on his doorstep. While she was in labor with her baby.
It appears that things work out OK on that front, as Mark is beaming like any proud grandfather would. Which is lovely, if possibly short-lived: Sloan, after all, had previously decided to give the baby up for adoption, leaving Mark with a lot of pain and a half-assembled crib. It looks like the paternal (grandpaternal?) instinct is being reawakened, though, and that could get complicated for all concerned.
Not in the clip, but also on “Grey’s” Thursday (April 29), is the big case of the week, which sounds like something out of “Deadliest Catch”: A crab boat captain is admitted to Seattle Grace Mercy West after being stabbed with a huge shark hook. The episode, “Hook, Line and Sinner,” airs at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
