jillian michaels nbc press tour Jillian Michaels 'heartbroken' over being 'misquoted', Zap2it readers respondJillian Michaels of “The Biggest Loser” recently told Women’s Health that she “can’t handle” the effect pregnancy would have on her body, so she hopes to adopt a child. Fans, including some Zap2it readers, found her comments to be offensive and shallow.

Michaels now tells Access Hollywood that she was misquoted. “The word ‘won’t’ and the word ‘ruin’ are not even in the article,” Jillian says. “It’s amazing, everybody’s asking about this and I’m like, ‘Did you read the article?’ ‘No I didn’t read the article.'”

]]>Tracey says, “Seriously can you be that superficial? If so, please don’t adopt. A child is the greatest gift. You can always get back into shape after. If you think your shape is more important than what a child can bring to your life, then you have no business being a mother to one.” House_Draven says, “I wouldn’t want someone to adopt a pet for such shallow, superficial reasons, much less adopt a baby. I’m thoroughly repulsed. I suppose the only good side to her comments is that she’s famous enough for them to now be known throughout the adoption community, and hopefully someone will think twice before approving her for a child.” Shaheema says, “It’s her choice, and a responsible one. Pregnancy does not equal motherhood. The world is overpopulated as it is and so many unwanted babies need a home. Good for her.” Debbie says, “Oh puh-lease, she can get her body back into shape. SHE IS A FLIPPIN TRAINER DUH!!!!!” What do you think about Jillian’s decision not to have a baby for the sake of her perfect abs?
