Olivia Palermo is happy to have “The City” camera crew following her around at her Elle.com offices, but they’re not allowed to film her boyfriend under any circumstances.
“He is not on ‘The City,’ he’ll never be on ‘The City.’ It will never be on. My producers can’t go anywhere near him. It’s in my contract. They can’t,” she tells NY Magazine. Olivia has been dating German underwear model Johannes Huebl for over two years. “I can’t speak for anyone but myself, but I’m private.”
When co-star Whitney Port was on “The Hills,” she had a similar philosophy, and was rarely filmed outside the Teen Vogue or People’s Revolution offices. Now, her love life has become an important part of the NYC-based “Hills” spin-off.
The recently-released Season 2 trailer featured lots of tension between Olivia and Whitney, but Olivia insists that there’s “no friction” between the co-stars. “I really don’t know how it’s gonna end up turning out once it’s all done,” she says.
