While trying to make a quick getaway and avoid getting trapped by the thousands of screaming fans at L.A.’s outdoor mall The Grove over the weekend, the Jonas Brothers ended up trapped all the same — by an elevator.
The JoBros spent 45 minutes in an elevator after the concert on Saturday (May 15), reports People. And they weren’t alone.
“We were stuck in an elevator with eight people and Big Rob,” said Joe Jonas, (Big Rob being their ginormous security guard).
]]>Kevin admitted it was a 21-person elevator, but the idea of being trapped still instilled some fear in the young stars. When asked who panicked first, Joe replied, “Me and Nick.” Nick disagreed. “I didn’t panic,” argued the youngest brother. “I just didn’t have my [blood-sugar] checker with me,” he explained, in regards to his diabetic condition. “No one had it on them, and I was afraid that if [my blood-sugar level] went low in an elevator we wouldn’t be able to do anything about it.” Joe recounted his increasing level of concern over the 45-minute time period: “It went from, ‘Okay, this is hilarious, we’re stuck in an elevator, okay press the button,’ to ‘This is crazy, okay, I can’t breathe, this is insane.'” But all’s well that ends well.
