Actress Lynn Redgrave, part of the famous family of actors, has died. She was 67.
The Oscar-nominated actress died Sunday night (May 2) in her Manhattan apartment, publicist Rick Miramontez told the AP on behalf of her children.
The actress had been treated for breast cancer in 2003.
Redgrave’s death comes as another blow to the family, after her niece Natasha Richardson died suddenly in 2009 of a head injury sustained while skiing and a month after the death of Corin Redgrave, her older brother.
Lynn Redgrave, the younger sister of acclaimed actress Vanessa Redgrave, received Oscar nominations for roles in “Gods and Monsters” and “Georgy Girl.”
