Sarah Palin took some time away from working on her upcoming Alaska documentary to hang with Hollywood’s elite Tuesday (May 4) night.
The Palin clan (including daughter Sarah and husband Todd — Bristol was not present, perhaps to rest up for her appearance on “The View” Wednesday morning?) attended the gala for Time’s 100 “Most Influential People” issue. The reception was held at New York’s Time Warner Center, where those who made the exclusive list got to mix and mingle.
]]>statement to ET that the Palins represent “the average, everyday, hardworking American.”
But “average” certainly does not describe the company she found herself
in Tuesday night, where she got to rub elbows with the likes of stars
like Betty White, who’s gearing up for her first “Saturday
Night Live” hosting appearance May 8. Perhaps Palin, who hosted during
her vice presidential run, gave her some pointers.
Other celebs on the red carpet included “Glee’s” Lea Michele, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, Martha Stewart, Rachael Ray, Ben Stiller, J.J. Abrams, Richard Branson and Elton John. “SNLers” Andy Samberg and Seth Meyers also showed up for the event.
