“Entourage” kicks off its seventh season on HBO Sunday, and the premiere finds Vince (Adrian Grenier) trying to get his action-star mojo back on the set of a new movie.
That may or may not involve him doing a dangerous driving stunt — an idea that Eric (Kevin Connolly) and Ari (Jeremy Piven) are steadfastly against. Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) and Drama (Kevin Dillon), meanwhile, just don’t seem to think that Vince is up to it.
If you’ve watched much of “Entourage” over the years, though, you know where this is headed: Vince only becomes more determined to do the stunt in a film directed by Nick Cassavetes (playing himself), who really wants him to do it, when his boys tell him he shouldn’t or can’t. His risk-taking will be an ongoing theme for the season, while the rest of the guys are trying to figure out the next stages of their lives and Ari goes after a big fish by cutting a deal with the NFL.
In the clips below, Eric and Ari try to talk Vince out of the stunt — apparently unsuccessfully, since the second one has Vince on set and geared up to get behind the wheel.
“Entourage” premieres at 10 p.m. ET Sunday (June 27).
