Just two years ago Katie Holmes was getting handed unsolicited advice from Broadway veterans before her debut in Arthur Miller’s “All My Sons.” Now she’s been asked to present at the Tonys.
Holmes, 31, will present the best featured actress award alongside fellow film-turned-Broadway star Daniel Radcliffe at Sunday’s (June 13) 64th annual Tony Awards. Radcliffe, 20, famously showed off his birthday suit in the fall 2008 revival of “Equus.” The “Harry Potter” star will be slipping into a business suit for next year’s revival of “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.”
Also just added to the presenters list for the Tonys are Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, Angela Lansbury, Mark Sanchez, Paula Abdul and Stanley Tucci.
The Tony Awards will be hosted by Sean Hayes and will be broadcast live (to the eastern half of the country) at 8 p.m. ET Sunday on CBS.
