ABC rode the NBA finals to an easy win Sunday, June 6, defeating CBS’ reruns and NBC’s Stanley Cup finals.

Game 2 of the Lakers-Celtics finals brought ABC a win with a 6.5 share/11 households and 11.1 million viewers average for the night. CBS’ “60 Minutes” garnered a second-place finish with 4.4/8 and 6.6 million viewers, with NBC’s hockey coming in third with 3.0/5 and 5.2 million viewers. FOX’s sitcoms and animated series took fourth with a 2.1/4 and 3.4 million viewers.

The 18-49 demo average for the night were an even bigger win for ABC. They took in a 4.5 rating, with NBC trailing at 1.9, FOX at 1.4 and CBS at 1.1.
