But Daniel Radcliffe isn’t done with Potter-esque ghosts, hauntings and supernatural forces.

For his next film foray, he will play a young lawyer named Arthur Kipps in “The Woman in Black,” the film version of Susan Hill’s best-selling gothic novel, that begins shooting in Fall of 2010.

Kipps is called to a small village in England for the funeral of an elderly widow who lived alone in the desolate Eel Marsh House. While sorting out the dead woman’s estate at her secluded estate, he endures unexplained noises, chilling events and hauntings. Finally,  he realizes the village is being terrorized by the ghost of a woman seeking revenge, aka the Woman in Black.  According to local lore, seeing this spectral figure signals the death of a child. Spine shivers already.
