Gordon Ramsay’s “MasterChef” gets the summer’s highest premiere ratings of any new series, but NBC wins the night — despite totally tanking with its new Tony Robbins series.

First place NBC averaged 7.4 million viewers and a 4.4 rating/8 share, slighting edging out CBS’s 7.2 million and 4.9/9. ABC placed third with 6.1 million and a 3.5/6, followed by FOX (6 million, 3.5/6) and The CW (774,000, 0.5/1).

FOX’s 2.8 demo rating was way ahead of ABC’s 2.0. They were followed by NBC (1.9), CBS, (1.2) and The
CW (0.3).

CBS: “NCIS” rerun (9.6 million, 6.4/12)
ABC: “Wipeout” rerun (7.2 million, 4.1/7)
FOX: “Hell’s Kitchen” (6.2 million, 3.7/7)
