Recent scorching temperatures in the Los Angeles area — climbing well into the triple-digits in many places — are supposed to break for the weekend.
This means that the red carpet at Sunday’s (Aug. 29) 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, held at the Nokia Theater, may not be quite the sweltering oven that it was last year.
But the actresses still have to pose in the glare of the sun, and even if the air is relatively cool, that can wreak havoc on carefully applied makeup.
]]>Pamella Roland, which she describes as “white and tight,” adding, “White’s making a comeback.” Of course, white also goes well with a tan. “Which I don’t have,” says Benz. “I have to go get a spray one.I have to try to fit that into my schedule. I don’t have any time, though. I don’t know what I’m going to do, because I’m working.” As for footwear, she says, “I haven’t gotten shoes yet. Probably silver. That’s what my stylist says.
