Michael Douglas, Oscar-winner for producing “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” and acting in “Wall Street,” has a tumor in his throat, reports People. Douglas will receive eight weeks of radiation and chemotherapy treatment, but says in a statement that he is “very optimistic.” His doctors expect him to make a full recovery.
]]>Catherine Zeta-Jones, purchased a house in Bermuda nearly 10 years ago, so perhaps that is where he’ll choose to recover. Douglas can next be seen reprising his Oscar-winning role of Gordon Gekko in the sequel “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps,” due out Sept. 24. We wish him a speedy recovery.
