R&B songstress Alicia Keys and husband Swizz “Kasseem Dean” Beatz “joyfully welcomed their first child, a son, Egypt Daoud Dean on Oct. 14 in New York City,” the couple says in a statement.
The statement adds that Egypt is “welcomed by Beatz’s three other children.” This is Keys’ and Beatz’s first child, though Beatz has two sons Prince Nasir Dean, born in 2000, and Kasseem Dean Jr., born in December 2006, as well as a daughter born in May 2008, all from previous relationships.
