]]><![CDATA["Unstoppable" is loosely based on the "Crazy Eights" unmanned train incident in 2001. That train left its Walbridge, OH and went on a 66-mile journey with no one at the controls due to the throttle being applied instead of hte brakes. Two of the train cars were carrying thousands of gallons of phenol acid. The train was eventually stopped when a crew of a second train coupled onto the runaway train and slowly applied its brakes. When it slowed to 11 mph, trainmaster Jon Hosfeld ran alongside the train and climbed aboard to shut down the train.
