tony romo Clavicle fracture could keep Cowboy Tony Romo from finishing football season

During the Dallas Cowboys’ Oct. 25 game against the New York Giants, Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was nailed by Giants linebacker Michael Boley, fracturing his left clavicle when he hit the ground.

Romo went down for the count for the rest of the game, appearing in a sling on the sidelines as his team lost 41-35. And it looks as though he may be just watching for the foreseeable future.

[Troy] Aikman was out four weeks with this and our [trainers] initially think six [weeks], possibly as long as eight [weeks], but we’ll see what his examination is.” Despite the Cowboys’ dismal season, Romo remains one of the most high profile quarterbacks in the NFL — and not just because he dated Carrie Underwood and Jessica Simpson.
