Yes, that was an episode of “90210” and not just an infomercial for cell phones. We won’t say the company, but if you watched, then you already know. How could you miss it? Plus, we’re not getting a paycheck from them.
Between the cell phone product placements, we saw some sparks fly between some new couplings while other romances are fizzling.
Naomi wipes out: There was some dj vu going on with Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) as she once again pretended to be something she was not (in this case, a rad surfer) to get a guy. But when it came to catching a wave, she lost the guy and ended up looking like she got a nose job. Some socialites never learn.
Debbie does restrooms: Ryan (Ryan Eggold) and Debbie (Lori Loughlin) tried to pretend they aren’t into each other after doing the dirty on the kitchen counter in the last episode. When Debbie tried her hand at Internet dating, she ended up in The Beach Club’s restroom with Ryan. We hope she washed her hands.
Navid tug-of-war: Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) still keeps Navid (Michael Steger) coming back for more even as he makes googly eyes at Silver (Jessica Stroup). Kiss her, you fool.
Ivy calls her dad: Literally that’s what happened. Ivy (Gillian Zinser) is still angry with her mom (played by Kelly Lynch, whose career is going nowhere fast) and virginity thief Oscar (Blair Redford), so she calls her estranged father. He hasn’t spoken to Ivy in years and has a whole new family, so smart move, Ivy! Seriously, would anyone care if a wave just swept Ivy away?
Liam sees stars: And we’re not talking about Ade. After finding out that the spoiled girl he works for started dealing drugs to impress her former boyfriend, Liam (Matt Lanter) pretends they’re together. Later, the guy and his thug give Liam a nice beating. Could we find him a new job, already?
Teddy and Ian make out: After being Mr. Grumpy Pants over coming out, Teddy (Trevor Donovan) is now seeing Ian (Kyle Riabko) in a new light. What caused this change of tude? He saw Ian talking to some guy with a crazy mullet. Seriously, Teddy, no competition, dude. Either way, it will be interesting to see how this plays out especially with the reports that the show is currently casting for a new stud muffin for Teddy named Marco…
Ah, teen love, so fleeting.
