But not all of them. A lively debate erupted in the comments of a recent Palin post, and, love her or hate her, Bristol clearly has “DWTS” fans feeling quite passionate.
Here’s what some of them are saying:
Craig: “She has my vote. But I do like the tea party. Don’t bite the hand that feeds you.”
Jewell: “She is out there doing her best and getting better each week. Who cares who her mother is? I don’t.”
Sharon Hoffman: “I vote for Bristol because she came to ‘DWTS’ to do something that is out of her character and I think she has done a remarkable job.”
Anonymous: “Bristol is a breath of fresh air. She has dressed like a lady throughout the competition and she has improved so much. I love to watch her dance and I will be thrilled if she makes it to the finals.”
Team anyone but Bristol
Nicole: “I think she is a sweet girl but she has not progressed into a good dancer…or even an OK dancer. I don’t think she deserves to be there so therefore I am not voting for her on that basis. It is after all a DANCE competition.”
Lee Virginia: “I think more deserving stars are being voted off instead of Bristol because of her mother’s politics, not her dancing. It makes ‘DWTS’ seem less fair and more like a personality contest than a dancing contest.”
Mama Mia: “If Bristol doesn’t get sent home, ‘DWTS’ is going to be losing a lot of viewers, including me.”
Mike Moran: “The judges who know dancing (and often the viewers) have placed her in
the bottom two six times. The viewers who are voting for her may or may
not be doing it because they are Republicans or Tea Party people, but
they are not voting for the best dancer which is the whole point of the
