Uh-oh. “Camp Rock 2” and “Sonny With a Chance” star Demi Lovato had her fans worried when she deleted her Twitter account and announced that she’d be unable to perform at a show in Peru, part of the “Camp Rock 2” tour she’s been on with the Jonas Brothers, including her ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas.
Now, TMZ confirms that 18-year-old Lovato has quit the tour entirely to enter rehab.
“Demi Lovato left her tour early this weekend in order to seek medical
treatment for emotional and physical issues she has dealt with for some
time,” says her rep. “Demi has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help. She is doing just that. She regrets not being able to finish her tour, but is looking forward to getting back to work in the near future.”
]]>Update: Disney released the following statement: “We support Demi’s decision to put her health first and we send her our best wishes.” We wish Lovato a speedy recovery. Follow Zap2it and @cadlymack on Twitter and Zap2it on Facebook for the latest TV, movie and celebrity news. Photo Credit: Getty
