Somewhere out there, Taylor Swift is reading this and cackling.
The comedy, which aired for two seasons, drew an average of 3.7 million viewers during its latest season. That’s not a bad number for cable, but it’s a lot less than some other Disney shows. “Hannah Montana,” for instance, attracted 7.1 million viewers on Sunday (Nov. 7).
“We’ve been fortunate to work with the enormously talented Jonas Brothers
on several projects, including the Emmy-nominated series ‘JONAS L.A.,'” a Disney Channel spokesperson says. “We look forward to working with them on new projects in the future.”
So what are each of the Jonai up to now that their show will not be returning? The brothers recently wrapped on the North American leg of their Jonas Brothers Live Concert Tour. Middle bro Joe guest-starred on Monday’s episode of “90210” and previously guested on Betty White’s show “Hot in Cleveland.” He’s currently working on a solo album. Nick released an album last year with his band, Nick Jonas & the Administration. He also performed in London last summer as Marius in “Les Miserables.” Kevin is enjoying married life and recently celebrated his 23rd birthday. His wife, Danielle, threw a surprise party for the oldest Jonas.
